Position Summary

BKR National is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a strong understanding of HVAC systems, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heating and cooling equipment
Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend effective solutions
Follow safety guidelines and local HVAC codes on all job sites
Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, options, and pricing
Complete detailed work orders, service reports, and job documentation
Keep company vehicle and tools organized and in good condition
Work independently or as part of a team on assigned projects

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of HVAC experience preferred
EPA Section 608 Certification required
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, roofs, crawl spaces)
Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work

Preferred Skills

NATE Certification or state HVAC license a plus
Experience with smart thermostats and home automation systems
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
