BKR National is expanding into electrical services across Florida. We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Contractor (EC License) to act as our company’s official Qualifying Agent with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR).

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Qualifier of Record for BKR National's electrical operations.

  • Ensure compliance with DBPR and Florida Building Code electrical regulations.

  • Oversee permit applications, inspections, and compliance requirements (low field involvement).

  • Provide limited consultation on code-related issues.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Retainer: depending on involvement.

  • BKR National covers insurance, bond, and renewal costs.

  • Flexible schedule, ideal for contractors who want to monetize their license.

Requirements:

  • Active Florida Electrical Contractor License (EC) in good standing.

  • Eligible under DBPR to serve as Qualifying Agent.

  • No ownership requirement; structured as consulting or employment.
